Gentamicin+Betamethasone+Clotrimazole Cream contains Gentamicin Sulfate, Betamethasone Dipropionate and Clotrimazole in a suitable basis.
Gentamicin Sulfate, BP is a Aminoglycoside antibacterial. Agent, it is mixture of the sulphates of antimicrobial substances produced by Micromonospora purpurea, the main components being gentamicins C1, C1a, C2, C2a and C2b.
It is white or almost white, hygroscopic powder. Freely soluble in water, practically insoluble in alcohol.
Betamethasone Dipropionate, BP is a glucocorticoid agent, having the chemical name 9-Fluoro-11β-hydroxy-16β-methyl-3,20-dioxopregna-1,4-diene-17,21-diyl dipropanoate.
It is white or almost white, crystalline powder.
Practically insoluble in water, freely soluble in acetone and in methylene chloride, sparingly soluble in ethanol (96 per cent).
Clotrimazole, BP is a synthetic antifungal agent having the chemical name 1-[(2-Chlorophenyl)diphenylmethyl]-1H-imidazole. It has the following structural formula:

Clotrimazole is white or pale yellow, crystalline powder. Practically insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol (96 per cent) and in methylene chloride.
CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
Betamethasone is a kind of corticosteroid drug, it has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictor effect, can fight for skin inflammation of various causes. Clotrimazole is broad-spectrum Antibiotics, it can damage the fungal cell membrane, kill fungi, it can used for the prevention and treatment of fungal infection associated with inflammation of the skin. Gentamicin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that can kill gram positive and negative bacteria, it can used for the treatment of skin primary and secondary bacterial infection, and it also has a role in the prevention and treatment of bacterial infection associated with inflammation of the skin. In vivo, Betamethasone has an effect of inhibition of adrenal effect, and gentamicin has effects of nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity.
INDICATIONS
Gentamicin+Betamethasone+Clotrimazole Cream is used for corticosteroid cholesterol drug-sensitive skin inflammatory diseases (such as contact dermatitis, eczema and neurodermatitis associated with bacterial or fungal infections).
USAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Twice daily, wash the affected area first, then apply a small amount of cream to the affected skin, then gently rub to fully penetrate the skin. In order to ensure the efficacy of the treatment of various skin diseases, drug treatment should be enough for each affected area and depth according to individual circumstances, or follow the doctor's instructions to use.
